We Are Good News Associates

WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF GOOD NEWS ASSOCIATES, Board members and Associates on retreat in June. The images and notes below offer a glimpse into our beloved community. It was a joy to gather and celebrate many faithful efforts in ministry over the past year.

Pictured above (front left to right): Emily Provance, Julie Peyton, Lynn Mills, Katie Buckley, Christine Hall, Rosemary Zimmerman; (back left to right): Jonathan Vogel-Borne, Craig Goodworth, Becky Wood, Lorraine Watson, Noah Merrill. Not pictured: Jan Wood, who joined us via Zoom.

We send hellos and laughs. Here’s Chris, Lynn, Katie, and Lorraine, enjoying each other’s company IRL (“in real life”).

Gazebo Group on Break

The gazebo at Tilikum Retreat Center near Newberg, OR, was a gorgeous spot for a break (left-right): Noah, Emily, Rosemary, Craig, and drop-in-hubby, Jim Hall.

Evening music with Julie and Jonathan

There were mellow evenings with music and games. Julie and Jonathan’s sweet sounds filled the retreat house.

2026 Tilikum Breakfast Table

Imagine the hubbub of conversation over this bright breakfast table.

2026 GNA Associates

These people are the heart of GNA—the Associates (l-r): Emily, Craig, Chris, Rosemary (and Jan, who attended virtually). We gladly welcomed our newest Associate, Craig, to his first GNA retreat.

Pictures Can’t Say It All

You might think from these pics that we ate, hung out, and played for a fews days. In reality, the fabric of GNA’s annual retreat is woven with worship, listening and discerning with Associates, sorting business matters, and praying over each other one by one. The whole experience is a precious gift that refreshes and strengthens our lives with God and each other.

Plus, YOU are part of the “WE” of Good News Associates too. You collaborate in this Good News by reading SEEDS, following Associates’ ministries, praying for us, and donating to help it all happen. So the fabric of GNA is like a vibrant tapestry of our relationships Alive with Spirit. That is glad tidings indeed!

With gratitude and joy,

Chris
